The forests climate stays rather warm in the summer months with temperatures ranging from 75-86°. The winter months can be chilling with temperatures dropping to 24°. The rain fall and snow is not lacking either with average rainfall being at 60 inches. Snowfall coming in just under that with 30 inches on average. The climate in this region is much like ours here in Iowa. [1] [2] [3]
